Terms & Conditions

Through UK Document Translations, you are able to obtain certified translations of documents. We translate from and into all languages. It is online, it is quick, easy and safe.

There are 3 levels of translation:

  1. Certified Translations – translated and signed by a Certified Translator
  2. Sworn Translations - translated by a Certified Translator. Translator and Solicitor sign and stamp the translation.
  3. Notarised Translations - translated by a Certified Translator. Translator and Notary Public sign and stamp the translation.

We provide all 3 levels for all languages and all types of documents. The type of certification required will depend on the purpose of the translation and also whether it is for official use in the United Kingdom or abroad.

It is your responsibility to check with the organisation that has asked you for a translation, exactly what they require.

UK Document Translations will only accept orders where it believes that the purpose for which the document has been ordered is honest and legal. Please complete the order form accurately, as failure to complete all fields correctly could result in delay or non acceptance of your order. We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect, incomplete or false information supplied.

Where Standard and Rapid Orders are placed and paid for after 2pm (UK time), we deem them received the following working day. For example, if an order and payment was placed at 14.15 on Monday 20th February, we deem them received the following working day – Tuesday 21st February.

Cancellations & Amendments

There is no facility to cancel or amend an order once it has been placed. Orders feed directly into our production process, leaving us unable to stop the system. We apologise for the inconvenience.

The following directive relates to the exception to the right to cancel: Regulation 13 (1) (a) "For the supply of services if the supplier has given correct information and the performance of the contract has begun with the consumers agreement before the end of the cancellation period."

Your contract with us is deemed to start at the point of order, and as such the above regulation applies. UK Document Translations do not offer the right to cancel once the order has been placed and paid for.
